🌍 Russian (peer-reviewed)
A quantitative analysis of atmospheric emissions from Moscow municipal thermal power plants and combined heat-and-power stations over a 20-year period (1990–2010). The study documents the evolution of NOₓ, SOₓ, CO₂ and particulate emissions in the context of Russia's post-Soviet economic transition, fuel switching from coal to natural gas, and modernization of generation facilities. Vadim contributed as co-author while working as a Research Analyst at MPEI.
📘 Master's Thesis
Characterization of Gas Free Jets Interaction at Static Conditions
Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg / Robert Bosch GmbH — 2016
📅 2016
🏛️ FAU Erlangen — R&D Division, Bosch
🌍 English
Master's thesis investigating the interaction dynamics of impinging gas free jets under static (non-combusting) conditions in a constant-volume chamber. Experimental methods included high-speed Schlieren and shadow imaging, backed by digital image analysis in DaVis and Matlab. Key findings contributed to understanding of jet mixing relevant to direct-injection combustion systems.

Research on Possibility of West Siberian Cogeneration Plant Boiler Transition to Dry-Ash Removal
Moscow Power Engineering Institute — 2013
📅 2013
🏛️ MPEI
🌍 Russian
Investigation into the technical and economic feasibility of transitioning coal-fired boiler systems at a West Siberian combined heat-and-power plant from wet to dry ash removal. Study included thermodynamic modelling, environmental impact assessment, and comparative analysis of ash handling infrastructure.
